Végh Anett

Physiotherapist

A healthy lifestyle and regular physical activity have always been a cornerstone of my family’s life. As a child, I explored various sports, and my love for movement ultimately led me to pursue higher education in Recreation and Health Development at the University of Pécs. It was here that I first discovered the profession of physical therapy, and I immediately knew that this was my path: healing through movement, helping others live their best life, despite injuries or chronic conditions. I graduated in 2013 and 2015, and after completing my studies, I began working at the Harkány Rehabilitation Center. There, I gained experience in musculoskeletal, rheumatological, neurological, and gynecological departments, providing inpatient and outpatient care. I led individual and group sessions, taught aquatic exercise classes, treated lymphedema in the dermatology department, and worked with patients in weight loss programs.

Alongside my hospital work, I eagerly took on additional roles. On weekends, I worked with children struggling with incontinence as part of the Voiding Training Program. I also led group exercise sessions for office workers and later served as the appointed physical therapist for the YourLife Health Maintenance Program at the Faculty of Medicine in Pécs, where I worked with international students, offering group preventive spine training and workshops.

For five years, I focused on private healthcare, with a particular emphasis on gynecological physiotherapy. My specialties included prenatal exercise, birth preparation, treating musculoskeletal complaints related to pregnancy and childbirth, addressing abdominal muscle separation, C-section scar therapy, and pelvic floor exercises for incontinence and prolapse. I led small group prenatal exercise classes and postnatal recovery sessions at the Atlas Health Center, catering to both beginners and advanced participants. I also organized workshops on topics surrounding childbirth. Currently, I’m involved in the Conscious Mother Program, where my videos supporting home preparation and recovery can be found on their online platform.

My approach to therapy is holistic. During our sessions, I not only focus on musculoskeletal issues but also offer personalized advice to help my patients adopt a health-conscious lifestyle.

I am dedicated to continually expanding my knowledge and broadening the range of techniques I can apply to improve my patients’ well-being.
